If you are travelling from the north or east of the city please follow the signs marked Hospital / A&E. At the roundabout beside Worcestershire Royal Hospital do not enter Charles Hastings Way but go straight across the roundabout following signs for City Centre. The John Anthony Centre is to be found three quarters of a mile along the Newtown Road on the left hand side.
If you are travelling from Worcester city, Newtown Road is the first turning on the left past Shrub Hill Railway station. As you exit the railway tunnel, the John Anthony Centre is to be found one mile on the right hand side before the turning for Canterbury Road.
If you are travelling by rail please get off the train at Shrub Hill station and follow the directions above. Visit the First Great Western website for train times.
If you are travelling by bus from the city centre, buses 31, 31A and 31C all stop opposite the John Anthony Centre. Just ask the driver to drop you off at Canterbury Road. Visit the Worcestershire County Council website for bus times.
We run a walk-in clinic every day of the week from Monday to Friday. We also offer appointments on most days, including Monday and Thursday evenings.
These are run on a first-come, first-served basis.

Friday: 8.30am - 11.30am
Monday: 9.00am - 11.30am and 4.30pm - 6.30pm

Thursday: 8.30am - 11.30am and 4.30pm – 6.30pm
To book an appointment, phone 0300 123 1731 between 08.30am and 7.30pm on Monday and Thursday, and between 08.30am and 4.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Friday please phone between 08.30am and 12.30am.
